Individual Therapy

In person and online psychotherapy near, Bishop Auckland and Barnard Castle, offering a warm, confidential space to explore whatever has brought you to therapy.

How can therapy help?

There are times in life when things can feel difficult to make sense of. You may be feeling stuck, struggling in relationships, or simply aware that something doesn’t feel quite right.

Therapy offers space where you can slow down, speak openly and be truly heard. Together, we can explore whatever has brought you here, working at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

Drawing on Transactional Analysis (TA) psychotherapy and an integrative approach, we can gently explore the patterns that influence the way you think, feel and relate to others. As your understanding grows, new possibilities and choices often begin to emerge.

TA helps us understand how our early experiences can influence the way we think, feel and relate to others today. Rather than looking only at what’s happening now, it helps us make sense of the patterns that may have developed over time.

I believe therapy isn’t about someone telling you what to do. It’s about creating the space to understand yourself more deeply, allowing change to emerge naturally from that understanding.
