Supporting individuals, couples and therapists in County Durham. I offer In-person and online sessions.
Therapy Tailored to You
Hi, I’m Terrie, I am a BACP accredited psychotherapist and supervisor offering individual therapy, couples therapy and clinical supervision from my practice in County Durham and also online.
Therapy offers the opportunity to pause, reflect and better understand yourself. Whatever has brought you here, we’ll work together in a warm, confidential space where you can talk openly, explore things at your own pace and gradually find a way forward that feels right for you.

Sometimes, despite all our searching, we still feel stuck
Therapy offers a neutral, quiet and calm space to speak freely about your innermost thoughts and feelings. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what you want to say.
My role is not to advise or have all the answers but to offer a space where together we can work out what has brought you here.
We can gently explore the patterns that influence how you think, feel and relate to yourself and others.
Whether we meet in my therapy room, outdoors for walk and talk therapy, or online, our sessions will be guided by what feels most comfortable and supportive for you.

I offer therapy to people over 18 years of age.
This free 20 minute video call (WhatsApp, FaceTime or Teams) gives us the opportunity to ‘meet’ before you book your first session. It’s a chance for you to ask any questions you may have and for me to ask a few too, so together we can decide whether we feel we are the right fit for one another.
Not at all. Many people come to therapy knowing something doesn’t feel quite right but finding it difficult to put into words. We can begin wherever feels most comfortable for you.
You can tell me as much or as little as feels comfortable. The pace we work at is always in your hands. You may find yourself sharing thoughts and feelings you’ve not spoken about before, and I may ask gentle questions to help guide our conversation.
